Operation Smile India’s Comprehensive Care Center

Operation Smile India’s Comprehensive Care Centre, in partnership with the Jubilant First Trust Health Care Limited, provides year-round free reconstructive surgeries to children who suffer from cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. The Comprehensive Care Centre facilities include operating and recovery rooms as well as rooms for medical, dental, speech therapy and parental and patient consultations. The Centre also serves as an education and training facility to medical professionals in the region.

The Comprehensive Care Centre conducts six-month and one-year post-operative care for its patients who receive surgery during a mission.

Resources:

Operation Smile India’s team of volunteer medical professionals performs these medical procedures. The team includes plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, pediatrician, dentists, and speech therapists.
